At the 9.22min mark this Guy shows the recommendation from RE, I for one was surprised to say the least.
All the times I have made modifications to my Himalayan I have never let it idle for 30mins, suffice to say I am happy I stumbled on to this Video.
If you watch the rest it is quite clear he is a Happy Chappy!

Spoke to my Dealer today ( the one that sells me Motorcycles:D )
Asked him about the ECU self learn which he of course confirmed and told me they do a similar thing for just 10mins as part of the Pre Delivery so as to let it adjust the local fuel and conditions.

so the standard fuelx is totally useless - as that is exactly what RD claims it does ...

Well as is shown on this, my latest Dyno run with a stock plus Cam Himalayan.
The Blue line is with the Fx lite and Red is without, so very little improvement with Fx.
What it does not show is the AFR(stock muffler does not accept the O2 sniffer used) which is 1 to 1and a half points lower than without, meaning that with Fx it ran too rich and just wasted fuel to get virtually no benefit.
People rave about Fx and mostly regurgitate the claim's on the fx website.

But, when we increase the displacement the ECU can not self learn sufficiently to cover the difference so that's where the Powertronics products become more useful.

It seems in case of the 410 BB kit that is exactly what is happening. Everybody who runs it is very pleased and I have not received one negative feedback so far. so the gap from 350 to 410 seems bridgeable by the stock ecu. Of course it does not hurt to add the Fuelx but ONLY the Pro+ type. the standard does nothing useful as you mentioned above.
It is kind of unfortunate that not too many people are willing to share their experience publicly i.e. in the forum, I get quite a few via whatsapp and email but can't just publish them here without permission and even if I did it would look like kinda self serving LOL

I once replied to a post that if it did learn it was a slow learner, I was wrong, again!
