Fitting a grab rail

Hello there,

I am posting as I am in need of advice. I got myself a 2018 himalayan and I would like to swap the oem luggage rack for a scram grab rail.

I found what I wanted on ebay, but but compatibility only shows himalayan strating from the 2021 model. I am not aware of any differences on the chassis. It's a $120 bet that I'll have to take I guess.

What do you guys think?

however, I have both, the 2021 and the 2016 and the attachments in the rear are identical, e.g. I have the 2021 rear rack on my 2016
 
I seem to remember a while ago someone ordered this thing from me for his Hima and it did fit. And afaik the frame of Scram and Hima are 100% identical.
