Well getting to work seems an interesting ride, can see why the Himalayan is popular, the roads are kind of Crappy to no existent.
I presume you had a Helmet, most did not.
That particular road was greatly improved over the last 2 years and now because of the coming up G20 so they do the Potemkin number on roads and building that are visible from those roads.
I always wear a helmet and those who do not get checked by police in irregular intervals and then its 500 INR fine.
However such a day was yesterday so everybody is quite relaxed today I guess.
I go this route almost daily or at least I did in the past so I know all the curves and critical points where I actually get quite slow. For the rest its top speed on a dry winding road with indian tyres, so between 40 and 60 kmh with maybe 100 max on stretches.
