So, I ordered this one and it is Counter Clockwise like it goes the wrong way, looking at the outcome it seem it has come to the end of its life but I have a Plan
The Guts of it is wrapped around because of its application ie Rotary, but could be used in a Linear TPS !

So why would you want a Linear TPS ? well I can think of 2 reasons for myself. And I think a couple of others could benefit also:giggle:

Split cables are used in many applications ( one pulls the Carby one pulls the oil pump or the other Carby ), modify the throttle cable so a split pulls the Linear TPS as the other pulls the Throttle Body ( which has its own TPS ) that way the Linear tps drives a 0 to 5V meter giving a Throttle position indication that is separate from the ECU signal.

I am not expecting to be overcome with requests for this but it has potential, what I was thinking of is Carby's that dont have a TPS fitted which accounts for almost all I've seen except for the OEM .

The HMC conversion kit uses an OEM Carby and has for some reason an extension cable for the TPS to be connected to the EFI loom.
But that is a half plastic cheap copy of a carby and C.V. as well! I think we can do better and soon will take up this endeavor in an attempt to prove just that.

The Manifold, if it can be found, takes a Mikuni VM36 perfectly, I have both, but only 2 Himalayans:(

Tank and fuel tap, well the easy way would be to ask HMC to sell me just them so perhaps if I was to order some other bits from there that would be the way.

But I would prefer my fuel tap on the other side and lockable like one of Sam's so may make an adaptor for the tank to just be an Outlet.

If anyone finds a "Linear TPS" let me know Please:cool:

The Red Plastic part came from a TVS that someone imported to Australia as a Personal Import and never got licensed
First bike I ever saw with a Carby and a O2 sensor and an injector.
