Meteor 650

The new Meteor 650 arrived and I had a chance to try it out.
This definitely is a nice looking good weather weekend solo rider machine. Perfect for the west with good roads, The tank will give you around 300km which is more than my 1100 BMW allows with the stock tank.
In a time of vastly overpriced bikes this is a very good alternative - again. for the west - on the rough unmaintained roads of India not so much. Here the 350 version will do fine ...

Mate of many years just bought a Super Meteor and has left it with me, not interested in riding it so I made this cover for the Master Cylinder reservoir, hand Beaten Propeller pattern Aluminum, he is a Pilot so perhaps he will like it

Mate picked up his new Super Meteor last Friday afternoon, not happy with the Mufflers and not wanting to pay $1000 for the dealer suggestion ( always been smart with his money) we jumped on ebay and came up with, Red Rooster, Powerage SS Mufflers, landed for 550,fits like a bought one and sounds like a motorcycle now.

the powerage which i use at all my himas are good quality, 340 Au$ here, add 50 postage and some duty, getting near that price.
